Hello everyone,

since a lot of time I have to send notifications using mailservers via port 25, not all of them have TLS support, a lot of mailservers have SSL support.

You can see it in a USG60W:

You can see the same on a Flex200H:

Is there a plan to introduce SSL SMTP usage?

Thanks a lot

    Update:

After checking the configuration and enabling TLS Security, the mail server receives the notification. It seems like the server supports TLS.

    Why not use StarTTLS

I think when you enable just TLS and change the port 465 that should work?

Unfortunately not all hostings let you have all the possible configs.

As you can see with standard port:

    With specific port 587:

Giving back errors also when using 465 port:

    Hi @GiuseppeR,

Could you help to try with the configuration below?

    1. Change the port to 465.
    2. Do not enable TLS security.

If fails, please help to capture the packets on the firewall and share the mail server's logs with us.
