Smart Steering is a feature designed to optimize wireless network performance, but not all access points (APs) support its full functionality. For APs that do not support the 'Optimization Aggressiveness' feature, roaming can still be improved by adjusting the RSSI threshold.

Steps to Adjust RSSI Threshold:

  1. Log into the Nebula Control Center (NCC).
  2. Navigate to the specific site where your AP is deployed.
  3. Go to Configure > Access points > Radio settings.
  4. Set the RSSI threshold to a suitable value to encourage devices to roam to a closer AP.
