WBE660S regularly kicks off all clients
Since upgrading my WBE660S to firmware 7.00, I've had issues where the AP regularly disconnects all clients. Today I was able to capture these log entries immediately after it occurred. Subsequent log lines appear to be continuing to initialize all radios. To be clear, I did not change anything anywhere near the time this occurred, and it's nowhere near my scheduled DCS time. Any idea why this is happening? I could roll back to 6.70 if it's a bug, but I do have WiFi 7 clients, so MLO is a real benefit to me.

Hi @BenHead
To help you troubleshoot this matter, please try the following steps:
- Firmware Check: Ensure your WBE660S is running the latest firmware version. You can check and download updates from our section.
- Optimize Configuration: Refer to this article for tips to optimize your AP settings and deployment:
If the issue persists after completing these steps, please assist us by:
- Collecting the AP diagnostic file immediately after the disconnections occur.
- If your device is managed via Nebula, enabling Zyxel support access and sharing your organization and site names with us.
This will help us investigate the problem further.

- AP is on the latest firmware, showing as "V7.00(ACGG.3) (Latest)" in Nebula.
- My configurations are pretty well matched to what's described there. Note also that ALL clients get kicked simultaneously, regardless of band, SSID, signal strength, etc. The clients are also a mix of device types, OS, WiFi version, etc. (In other words, it's clearly not a client-specific issue.)
- I was going to say I'd post back later, but it happened again just now. The attached diagnostic file was captured approximately 7 minutes after an occurrence.
- I've enabled support access in Nebula. Org name is "Turner family", site name is "home".

Slightly more detail to find what you need in the log/diagnostic file: Nebula GUI logs show devices being kicked off around 10:13:26 local time, and the next couple of minutes look like the AP radios restarting, but it doesn't appear (at least to me) to be doing a full reboot like the known kernel panic issue.

In fact, here's a CSV export of all the log entries that seem to show the whole event, in case it helps to line it up with the diagnostic file.

I hope you'll continue to investigate, but in the meantime, I'm going to attempt turning off MLO, since it's technically still "beta" and there seem to be numerous other issues with it in the current firmware. Useful as it is for my WiFi 7 clients, it's not worth these constant disconnects. I'll report back whether or not the issue persists with it switched off.

It's been well over 24 hours, and I haven't experienced the issue at all since turning off MLO. Previously it was happening multiple times per day, so I think that's the answer.
The logs above show it, but I'd specifically like to highlight that even though I only had MLO enabled on 1 of my 3 SSIDs, clients to all SSIDs were being disconnected.
Here's hoping the next firmware update fixes many of the MLO bugs….

Hi @BenHead
After reviewing your log, we identified that under specific conditions and environments, the MLO feature may experience the connectivity issues you reported, potentially affecting service stability.
Rest assured, we have addressed and optimized the MLO-related connectivity enhancements. For now, we recommend keeping current SSIDs setup (temporary disable the feature), and upgrading once the next official firmware release becomes available. The fix is scheduled to be included in the firmware update planned for Q1 2025 to ensure uninterrupted service in the future.
Please stay tuned to
for updates on the latest firmware.Kay
