How to Manually Assign an AP to a Specific Controller for Management?

You can manually assign an AP to a specific controller. To do this, set the 'registration type' to 'manual' before installing the AP. Then, add the AP manually to the 'Mgmt AP List' through the controller's web interface.

Step1. Log in to your AP Controller GUI.
Step2. Go to Configuration > Wireless > Controller's Configuration.

Step3. Navigate to AP Management > AP list.
Step4. Manually add the AP to the 'Mgmt AP List' through the controller's web interface.
