RSRP stands for Reference Signal Receive Power, which measures the average received power of all Resource Elements (RE) carrying cell-specific Reference Signals (RS) within a specified bandwidth.
On the mobile router System Monitor > Cellular WAN Status page, the RSRP value is displayed in dBm and indicates the received signal strength from the connected E-UTRA (Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access) cell. This value helps you assess the quality of the cellular signal for your device's connection.
For optimal performance, the RSRP value should ideally be between –80 dBm and –90 dBm or >= 80 dBm. This range indicates a strong signal, ensuring reliable connectivity and better data throughput.
