Hi all ,

I have configured wan failover to use secondary connection when primary fails, but i have noticed that i have trunk load balancing configured ? is there a way to configure just to have wan failover without load balancing on trunk.

Thanks in advance

Adi

    Not done a failover but heres what might work

    make two rounting rules

    The highest one with like

    Incoming = Interface

    member = LAN1

    Next hop

    type = Interface

    interface = wan1

    Address Translation

    Source Network Address Translation = outgoing-interface

    Advance

    check = Disable policy route automatically while Interface link down

    check = Enable Connectivity Check

    address ISP WAN gateway IP or 8.8.8.8

    Lowest rule secondary connection

    Incoming = Interface

    member = LAN1

    Next hop

    type = Interface

    interface = wan2

    Address Translation

    Source Network Address Translation = outgoing-interface

    When checking ping fails the highest rule will disable to allow the lowest rule.

    Hi @adi_dragnic,

    You can create an "User Configured Trunk" and add the secondary wan as "Passive" mode.

    Then select this WAN Trunk to replace the system default one.
