Why Can't I Access the Internet When Connected to VPN on Mac?

A customer reported that they are unable to access the internet when connected to VPN using SecuExtender on a Mac device.

Issue:

• Internet access is blocked when connected to VPN.
• Unable to ping external addresses like google.com or 8.8.8.8.

Solution:

1. Ensure that you are using Full Tunnel settings on your firewall. This can help route all traffic through the VPN.
2. Check the firewall settings to ensure that there are no rules blocking internet access while connected via VPN.
3. If Full Tunnel is already set up but the issue persists, verify that the local policy is correctly configured as 0.0.0.0/0 rather than the internal subnet.
