Switch XMG-108 and XMG-108HP
Hello,
I have 4 of these switches connected in series. The LEDs indicate LOOP between them. The network works. I tried connecting the switch to the switch with a cat7 cable and a 10gbe optical cable and it still indicates a loop (the green LED blinks slowly)
even if I connect two switches to each other and nothing else is connected, it automatically indicates a loop.
Is this normal?
I haven't found anything about it anywhere.
Thanks, who knows what it is.

So the engineers must have made a mistake somewhere. Never mind, it works so I'll leave it at that.
Thank you for your answer :)

Hi @server3,
This is a known issue in the XMG100 series. It enables loop detection but accidentally recognizes the loop probe packets from other XMG100 series as from itself when the XMG100 series connects.
The traffic will be forwarded without issue since this is the loop detection behavior.
