Layer2 Isolation on the USG ATP/FLEX is designed to allow or block communication between clients on the same subnet. 

If you think it's not working as expected

  • Try flushing the ARP cache on the clients to ensure the firewall can handle ARP replies.
  • For a more reliable setup, apply Layer2 Isolation on a Layer 2 switch instead of the firewall.
