Xmg1915 switch perpetual firmware update

I have observed since the beginning of the year, that the switch xmg1915 is showing there’s a firmware update. First ir was showing it would automatically update in January x day…the day came and went and no update was performed. Last week it was showing the update would be performed in 2/17/25…the date now changed to 2/24/25
manually updating does not work.
when is update happening and this be done manually?
I have tried rescheduling and that does not work either.
