HA config(Flex 700)
I have the following set up. The question I have is what takes precedence when it comes to HA, and what would give the desired end result?
two 700 in functional HA pair.
WAN1, WAN2
policy routes for different traffic to go primarily through WAN1 or WAN2, policy routes have connectivity check to fail down to an alternate policy route to direct over the inverse WAN
HA is currently configured with WAN1, WAN2 as monitored interfaces, as well as 'Enable Failover when interface failure' checked.
- When WAN1 connectivity check fails, the HA passive becomes active
- They flip-flop until WAN1 is active again
What I'd prefer, is that policy routes are followed on WAN failure, and HA status only changes for firmware updates, and possibly if the physical link goes down for vlan2(LAN).
Would the best plan to be just add vlan2 to HA monitored interfaces, remove others, uncheck 'Enable Failover when interface failure', be happy?

Hi @mrtonyg ,
You can add VLAN2 to the HA monitored interfaces and remove all other interfaces from monitoring. Ensure the 'Enable Failover when interface failure' option is checked.
