How to Configure Bridge Mode on Zyxel Mobile Router?

Bridge mode, referred to as IP Passthrough in Zyxel mobile routers, allows your router to pass its public IP address directly to a connected device—typically a firewall, VPN gateway, or another router. This is useful when you want the connected device to handle all routing functions while the mobile router acts purely as a modem.

For Nebula Indoor Mobile Router:

To enable IP passthrough mode on an indoor mobile router, such as the FWA510, please follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Broadband > Cellular > IP Passthrough Mode.
2. Click the button to enable the feature.
3. Click the Apply button

For Nebula Outdoor Mobile Router:

To enable IP passthrough mode on an outdoor mobile router, such as the Nebula FWA710, please follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Broadband > Cellular APN
2. Click Modify button for the enable APN

3. Click the button to enable the IP Passthrough Mode feature.

4. Click the OK button.
