You may sometimes need to manually assign specific channels to individual Access Points (APs) for better performance or to resolve interference issues.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Navigate to Configure > Access Points > Radio Settings
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page
  • Select the frequency band you wish to configure (e.g., 2.4GHz band)
  • Check the checkbox next to the specific AP you want to modify
    > Click the Edit button

  • From the dropdown menu, select your desired channel
  • Click Update button

  • Recommended Approach: Enable the DCS feature to automatically scan and select optimal channels based on your network environment.
