WLAN - WiFi Aid - Bell Notification

Zyxel Networks has introduced another minor enhancement in Nebula 19.00 — WiFi Aid Bell Notifications. This update makes it even easier for administrators to monitor wireless client issues directly from the Nebula Control Center (NCC).
What Are WiFi Aid Bell Notifications?
When WiFi Aid is enabled and a threshold is reached (e.g., 10 failed client connections, excessive DHCP failures, or DNS resolution errors), Nebula will now trigger a bell notification — displayed directly in the Nebula interface's top notification area.
This feature complements the WiFi Aid Email Alerts by offering a faster, in-dashboard alert method, especially useful for administrators actively working within the Nebula platform.
When Does the Notification Appear?
Bell notifications are triggered when WiFi Aid detects that failure metrics exceed the configured threshold, such as:
- Total Failures Clients
- DHCP Failures
- DNS Resolution Failures
Once triggered:
- A bell icon will appear in the top-right corner of the Nebula dashboard.
- Administrators can click into the alert to open the WiFi Aid section for deeper diagnostics.
Requirements
To receive bell notifications:
- WiFi Aid Alert must be enabled for the site.
- If WiFi Aid Alert is disabled, no bell notifications will be shown — even if client failures occur.
