What can I do if my access point cannot connect to the network?

If your Zyxel access point is not powering on correctly or is unable to connect to the Nebula Control Center (NCC), please follow the simple steps below to troubleshoot:
- Download and install the ZON tool from Zyxel's website to scan the same network segment for detecting the device and checking if it obtains an IP address. Refer to the ZON Utility Download Page. More details can be found here: How to use ZON utility?.
- If the device is still not functioning, verify if essential ports used by the NCC (Ports 4335/6667 for NETCONF communication) are not blocked by your firewall or ISP. Make sure these ports are open.
- If using multiple switches or gateways, test connecting the affected access point to the same switch or gateway where other working devices are connected. This cross-test can identify any environmental factors causing the issue.
