How do I send and receive SMS messages on my Mobile Router?

You can send and receive SMS messages via the SIM card installed in your mobile router.
To access this feature, go to Network Settings> Broadband > Cellular SMS in the web interface. The corresponding screen will then be displayed.

  • Note: When the used capacity reaches the total capacity, the device will stop receiving new SMS messages. To continue receiving messages, you need to delete older ones by clicking the delete icon under the Modify column or use the Delete All Messages option.
  • Total Capacity: Displays the maximum storage capacity available on the device for SMS messages.

Use this screen to send SMS messages from the device.
Click Add New Message to open the message composition screen.

Additional Note:

Cellular SMS is not supported on all Zyxel mobile router models. If the SMS menu is not available in the web interface, please refer to your product specifications to verify whether Cellular SMS is supported. Examples of unsupported models include the NR7101, FWA710, and FWA70.
