in Home Router
Hey folks, I need some help.
Turk Telekom just installed fiber in my apartment and gave me a Zyxel EX3501-T0 as the main modem/router. I already had a Zyxel DX3300-T1 from before. Both devices support MPro Mesh (EasyMesh). My goal is to set up the EX3501-T0 as the main/root device and use the DX3300-T1 as a wireless MPro Mesh satellite.
Here’s what I tried:
- Activated MPro Mesh on both devices.
- Put DX3300-T1 into Satellite Mode.
- Tried WPS pairing (no luck).
- Tried connecting via Wi-Fi manually (couldn’t find the root SSID).
- Even tried bridging the old modem — didn’t work either.
Firmware on both devices is up-to-date.
Any idea if these two devices can actually work together in MPro Mesh mode?
Or does the EX3501-T0 only support certain satellite models (like WX3401)?
Any workaround? Ethernet backhaul isn’t an option for me.
Thanks in advance 🙏
