What's the default admin and root password for the Zyxel EX3301-t0?

I recently bought the Zyxel EX3301-t0 as a second-hand router, but it's super locked down. You can't upgrade or do basic stuff. Most importantly, you cannot configure pppoe and make good use of it. It came with a generic username password of "user" "user". In an attempt to unlock the full capabilities of the router, no generic password works for this model. I've tried so many generic passwords with no luck. It was reduced to a basic switch right now. I flashed it with this generic firmware from zyxel's website: 5.50(ABVY.6.2)C0. It would be great to know how the router generates the passwords so you can replicate it yourself. If you have anything useful on the matter, don't hesitate to contact me here.

Why can't you do a RESET, as described in the user guide for the EX3301-T0 in section 2.3.3 ?
Then the default admin password will be the same as the one on the sticker on the back of the unit
