Zyxel EX5401-B1 Configuration with Tensor

Hello all,
The company I work for has recently upgraded one of it's sites from copper to fibre, and the ISP has provided a new router for this site in the form of a Zyxel EX5401-B1.
Previously all configuration was handled by the companies MSP however since the introduction of this new router, they are stating it's out of scope and will not preform the configuration for it.
The problem that I am facing is on this site, the clocking in machine, a Tensor 32XX machine relies upon the internet connection to be able to transmit the clock in/out times back to the main server, previously this was on it's own subnet, and when looking at this router it doesn't appear to allow separate subnets only on 1.1.
I've since configured the clocking machine to 1.222 in line with the router, but according to the connectivity page it is not showing it despite its able to be pinged.
The clocking machine itself is connected via Ethernet along with 3 other devices (A local PC, door controls and CCTV) but for what ever reason since the subnet for it has changed it's not detecting it, I've already tried a mesh reboot, as well as going via clicking on the 3-lines and hitting reboot that way, but it's not discovering it.
Has anyone had experience in the past getting a Tensor device to communicate with a Zyxel device and be able to communicate on the internet?
Thank you.
Rubber Duck.
