in Home Router
This router was a replacement for a VMG8623-T50B which was suspected of causing dropouts in my ADSL connection. I have a ryzen7 minipc, a NAS (Asus1104), and another laptop connected via an Asus RP-N14 in access mode connected by a Netgear AV200 powerline adaptor.
When this new modem played up, then the first thing my Internet providers suggested was to disconnect the NAS.
I've seen many others suggest the same thing but I can't find out why. I've reduced the services offered by the NAS to the absolute minimum, but it still causes the modem to restart.
I'm going to use a 5 port switch between the modem and the other connected devices to see whether it's the router that's at fault. Am I going about this the right way?
