Thanks, this is what I'm getting:

    ftp> cd fw
250 OK. Current directory is /fw
    ftp> bin
200 TYPE is now 8-bit binary
    ftp> lcd 5.17(ABPC.6)C0
    Local directory now …/5.17(ABPC.6)C0
    ftp> put V517ABPC6C0.bin
    200 PORT command successful
    150 Connecting to port 51374
    226-File successfully transferred
226 13.623 seconds (measured here), 5.86 Mbytes per second
    83756032 bytes sent in 13.5837 seconds (5.8803 Mbytes/s)

At this point, the LED starts blinking red.

I've seen that in the other posts mentioning updates via FTP there is a response along the lines of updating firmware, please wait, but I'm not getting anything like that.

I'll leave the device for a while longer now, before checking if there was any effect.

So, I managed to find some logs. I'm getting the following error:

    flashImage.264: Flash whole image...

ERROR: NAND flash block size 256KB does not work with an image built with 128KB block size

bcmNandImageSet failed, rc=-1ERROR[flashImage.296]: Failed to flash whole image
ERROR!!! Image could not be flashed.
    Firmware Upgrade fail
    File Upload

Looks like the image of the firmware version I'm trying to flash is not compatible or maybe I'm uploading it wrong? Any advice would be welcome

So i see you have the right FW . Blocksize could be adapted in the FTP Program ?
