I am trying to port forward to 8000 a CCTV DVR it just will not open the port even port 554 also

If the WAN IP assigned by your Service Provider to the DX3301 is a private IP (e.g., 10.x.x.x, 172.x.x.x, or 192.168.x.x), external traffic will not be able to reach the router.

It is also possible that the ISP is blocking these specific ports on their end. Therefore, we recommend contacting your ISP to confirm if they provide a public IP and if there are any port restrictions.
