Nebula Cloud Auto Firmware Upgrade Notice - WiFi 7 Access Points

To enhance system security and maintain firmware integrity, this upgrade is required due to changes in the firmware encryption mechanism.
All affected models running firmware older than V7.10 P2 C0 will automatically be scheduled for upgrade to ensure compatibility with the latest encryption design.

Note: Models already running 7.10P2C0 or newer will not be affected by this scheduled upgrade.

Upgrade Timeline

• Announcement date: October 20, 2025
• Grace period: October 20 – November 17, 2025
  During this period, administrators can manually plan or schedule the upgrade via Nebula Control Center.
• Global rollout: Begins automatically on November 17, 2025, for devices that have not yet been upgraded.

Next Steps

• Administrators may manually upgrade earlier if preferred.
• If automatic firmware upgrade is enabled in NCC, the device will be updated automatically during the scheduled window.
• To avoid unplanned downtime, please ensure maintenance windows are properly configured under:
  Nebula > Site-wide > Configure > Firmware management

Additional Notes

• This mandatory upgrade ensures continued compatibility with Nebula’s latest encryption framework.
• After the upgrade, normal Nebula operation and management will not be affected.
