Overview

Starting from Nebula 19.20, the Remote SSH and Remote Configuration features are now available to all organizations using the Nebula Base Pack— no Pro Pack license is required.

Previously, these features were only accessible after upgrading an organization to the Nebula Pro Pack, but with this update, every newly created organization (Base Pack by default) can use these remote management capabilities immediately.

1.Feature Availability

Before Nebula 19.20

• Remote SSH and Remote Configuration were exclusive to Pro Pack organizations.
• Administrators of Base Pack orgs had to purchase or upgrade licenses to access them.

After Nebula 19.20

• Both features are now included in the Base Pack.
• No upgrade or additional purchase is needed to enable them.

2.Supported Product Categories

The expanded availability applies to the following Nebula-managed device types:

3.Access in Nebula Interface

With this change:

• The “Diamond” (Pro Pack- only) icon previously shown beside the Remote SSH and Remote Configuration options has been removed.
• Administrators using the Base Pack can now click and use these tools directly within the Nebula Control Center (NCC).

4.Impact for Mobile Router Users

Previously, mobile router users who wanted remote SSH or remote configuration needed to purchase a Pro Pack license.
However, since these features are now part of the Base Pack, Zyxel is adjusting how mobile router SKUs are categorized moving forward.

New Mobile Router Labeling Plan
