[USG40W - SSL VPN] User Session Idle Timeout

Hi everyone,

is there a way to set an idle timeout for the SSL VPN Users on a Zyxel USG40W ?

My users connect to the SSL VPN tunnel using SecuExtender but if they forget to click on "Disconnect" after they're done, they are never disconnected.

So next time they want to use the VPN, they can't because they are already logged in.

In object > user/group then edit user name you can set use manual settings lease time to 2mins but this may limit the time they stay connected but might be fine for SSL VPN or In object > user/group >settings tab Enable user idle detection for 3 mins or what you need to set it.

Enabling user idle detection didn't work but decreasing Lease time worked like a charm.

Welcome to Zyxel community.?

The “idle detection” is detected by traffic, if the device still have incoming traffic from SecuExtender client. It would not force log out user and disconnect the session.
