How to troubleshoot guest WiFi no-Internet issue

If your guest Wi-Fi is not working that the client cannot browse Internet web page, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Ensure the Guest Network option is enabled by navigating to Configure > Access Points > SSID settings.
  2. Check that the guest network SSID is broadcasting and visible to connect to.
  3. Ensure that necessary devices, such as DNS servers or the gateway, are added to the whitelist. For instance:
    • If using a separate DHCP server or private DNS server, add the MAC address of it to the Layer 2 isolation whitelist.
    • Alternatively, configure the DHCP server to use a public DNS server, such as Google DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4).
  4. Wait until the configuration up-to-date then connected devices monitor the network connection.
