CNP+ License Requirements

The Application Visibility feature requires an active Connect & Protect Plus (CNP+) license. This license enables Application Visibility as well as security services such as DNS/IP reputation filtering.

You can verify the license status by navigating to: Organization-wide » License & inventory. If the site does not have a valid CNP+ license, the Application Usage Data will not be displayed.

Access Point (AP) Feature Enablement

For Access Points, the Application Visibility feature must be manually enabled.

To enable it, go to: Configure » Access points » Security service and enable Application Visibility & Optimization.

Once enabled, the AP will start detecting WiFi client application types and their bandwidth usage.
