Follow these steps to enable and configure USB file sharing:

  1. Ensure your USB drive is formatted to FAT or FAT32. Other file systems are not supported.
  2. Update your FWA505 firmware to the latest version (v1.19P0). You can download it here: FWA505 Firmware Update.
  3. Once formatted, connect the USB drive to the USB port of FWA505.
  4. Connect your computer to the FWA505 network via WiFi or LAN cable.
  5. Log in to the FWA505 Web GUI at https://192.168.1.1 using your web browser.
  6. Go to: Network Setting > USB Service. Make sure the USB drive is detected.
  7. Activate File Sharing Services under Server Configuration.
  8. Add a shared directory by navigating to Share Directory List > +Add New Share. Specify the path and access permissions, then save the settings.
  9. Click Apply to finalize the configuration.
  10. To access the shared USB from devices:
    • For computers: Open the file explorer and enter \\192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
    • For mobile devices: Use the Files app (iPhone example) > More Options (···) > Connect to Server; type smb://192.168.1.1.

For detailed information, please refer to the user manual (page 230): Nebula FWA505 User Guide.
