Zyxel Access Points (APs) currently support WPA3-Enterprise with AES-128 encryption. However, some environments, especially those utilizing Windows Server-based Network Policy Servers (NPS) for RADIUS authentication, may specifically require WPA3-Enterprise with AES-192 encryption, leading to potential compatibility challenges.
- Current Status of WPA3-Enterprise AES-192 Support
- Zyxel acknowledges the requirement for WPA3-Enterprise with AES-192 encryption.
- This feature is included in the development roadmap and is currently under internal evaluation for a future firmware release.
- Recommended Workaround
- Customers requiring WPA3-Enterprise AES-192 can temporarily use WPA2-Enterprise for network authentication.
