When both ports are combined through a splitter, the device may detect only one signal path, significantly reducing MIMO capability and lowering throughput, especially on higher-band 4G/5G frequencies.

Recommended Setup:
For optimal performance, use a 2x2 MIMO external antenna with two independent outputs, and connect each output to one TS-9 port on the FWA505. This preserves the device’s full MIMO capability and ensures the best possible signal quality and speed.
