To extend your wireless LAN coverage to remote locations and connect wired devices, you can configure your remote Access Point (AP) to act as a root in a mesh network while maintaining a secure tunnel to your USG FLEX.

1. Secure Tunnel over Mesh: The secure tunnel established between the USG FLEX and your Remote AP can successfully operate over a mesh link.
2. Remote AP as Root: Your existing remote AP can be configured to function as the root AP for the mesh network.
3. Repeater AP Capabilities: A repeater AP connected through the mesh can broadcast both the secure tunnel SSID and the local SSID.
