[NOTICE] Scheduled AP 802.1X Cloud Authentication Certificate Update – January 21, 2026
Zyxel Employee
Nebula will perform a server certificate update for WPA-Enterprise authentication with the Nebula Cloud Authentication Server on January 21, 2026, at 02:00 AM (UTC+0).
This update will replace the existing certificate to maintain compliance with security and validity requirements. After the update, client devices that have cached the previous certificate may prompt users to reauthenticate or require a manual reconnection to the Wi-Fi network to establish trust with the new certificate.
Schedule
📅 January 21, 2026, 02:00 AM(UTC+0)
Expected Client Behavior
After the certificate update, the following client-side behaviors may be observed:
- Some stations may not reconnect automatically to the Wi-Fi network.
- When reconnecting manually, users may be required to:
- Re-enter their username and password
- Accept / trust the new server certificate
Client behavior may vary depending on the operating system, device type, and certificate validation policy.
In certain cases, the client may need to forget (delete) the existing SSID profile and reconnect to establish trust with the new certificate
