Why does a Backup Admin need an additional MSP license?
A:
Having a backup ensures that settings and management capabilities remain active even if the MSP Master account's license expires. While it incurs an extra license cost, it enhances reliability and prevents disruptions.
Notes:
An MSP backup cannot assign another MSP backup.
The organization bound to the MSP will automatically have its MSP master and MSP backup assigned to it.
