Thanks for pointing it out. May you share your test method for us to clarify this issue?

@Zyxel_Melen Honestly? No. I just started drawing a Network Diagram to illustrate the tests I did and then I was thinking "Why the hell do I even invest so much time to help you with fixing bugs in your uOS, so that you can make me pay license cost for the privilege of using the buggy thing?"
You guys took over 4 months to give me the GPL source code and I have now realized that you didn't even send me everything you are legally obliged to. In your "End-User License Agreement", that comes with the firmware binary, you clearly state that you are using GPLv3 licensed software and the GPLv3 clearly states that:
“Installation Information” for a User Product means any methods, procedures, authorization keys, or other information required to install and execute modified versions of a covered work in that User Product from a modified version of its Corresponding Source. The information must suffice to ensure that the continued functioning of the modified object code is in no case prevented or interfered with solely because modification has been made.
If you convey an object code work under this section in, or with, or specifically for use in, a User Product, and the conveying occurs as part of a transaction in which the right of possession and use of the User Product is transferred to the recipient in perpetuity or for a fixed term (regardless of how the transaction is characterized), the Corresponding Source conveyed under this section must be accompanied by the Installation Information. But this requirement does not apply if neither you nor any third party retains the ability to install modified object code on the User Product (for example, the work has been installed in ROM).
And what was missing? The Installation Information, as I now have realized.
You see, I'm pretty done with you guys by now. If I just get an OPNsense Firewall, then, if I invest time with bug triaging, I'll do something that helps everyone, since it's an open source project, instead of working for free for a company to develop their commercial product and that doesn't even give back what they are legally obliged to.
Have a nice weekend.0
