Introduction to Auto Renewal

Zyxel Networks has introduced the Auto Renewal Tag on Nebula Control Center (NCC) to provide better visibility for security appliance licenses. Auto-renewal is a feature designed to keep UTM, GSP, or Elite Pack licenses current through continuous yearly or monthly protection, eliminating concerns regarding security gaps. This feature is currently available on two platforms: the Market Place (supporting USG Flex, ATP, and security routers like SCR 50 AXE and USG Lite 6 AX) and Circles (which will include the H Series in Q1 2026).

Motivations and Management

The addition of this tag serves three primary purposes: providing a clear license status for easy tracking, preventing duplicate purchases of licenses already set to renew, and offering centralized license management. The tag does not prevent users from manually purchasing or redeeming other licenses if desired.

How to View the Tag

To locate the tag, navigate to Org-wide > License and inventory > Device. In the "Licensing Information" column, the tag appears next to the license. Hovering over the tag triggers a tooltip that reminds the user the license is set for auto-renewal.
