Hi everyone,I am writing from Italy to report a critical issue that is bricking my Armor G1 (NBG6818) router. After a factory reset, it has become impossible to access the local configuration.

The Issue: Every time I attempt to access 192.168.123.1, the router immediately performs a hard redirect to:http://192.168.123.1/gui/#/main/easy123SingleSignOnInstead of displaying a login form or a "Local Password" option, the page hangs or displays the following error: "We are experiencing some service issues. Please refresh the page or try again later."

Technical Details (Browser Console): by checking the DevTools (F12), I isolated the following:

  • Firmware Build: 20210929_091902.
  • API Error: POST requests to /zapi return an RPC operation_failed error with tag 4142.
  • The firmware seems stuck in a mandatory cloud handshake that is currently failing, preventing the local GUI from initializing.

Troubleshooting steps already taken (all failed):

  1. Direct Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi disabled).
  2. PC configured with a static IP (192.168.123.10) and Google DNS.
  3. Multiple hardware factory resets (including the 30-30-30 method).
  4. Attempted GUI bypass via browser console (location.hash) and SSH access (Connection refused).
  5. Attempted setup via Zyxel One App (device not detected or app hangs).

It is unacceptable that a cloud service failure or an expired certificate prevents local administrative access to the hardware. Does anyone have a workaround or a firmware link that removes this mandatory cloud-check?
