Indoor and Outdoor Deployment Flexiblity for WBE665S

The WBE665S, primarily an outdoor access point, now supports a dedicated management toggle in Nebula to switch between indoor and outdoor deployment modes. This feature, previously only available in standalone mode, is now fully integrated into the Nebula Control Center for Cloud Managed APs.

Enabling 6GHz Performance

By default, the WBE665S functions as an outdoor AP with its 6GHz band disabled to comply with AFC regulation requirements due to its strong power output. However, by switching to "Indoor Mode," the 6GHz band is enabled, providing superior coverage and high-speed wireless performance for indoor environments.

Configuration and Considerations

Administrators can adjust the installation environment by navigating to the device detail page and using the pencil icon next to the "Installation Environment" field. While switching between modes, administrators should consider potential wireless service interruptions, particularly if the 6GHz band is currently in use.
