Unified Security Visibility: The MSP Threat Report

The MSP Threat Report is a new feature in Security Reporter designed for Managed Service Providers to aggregate security data from multiple organizations and firewalls into a single, professional report.

Strategic Cross-Org Visibility

Unlike standard reports that focus on a single site, the MSP Threat Report provides an "aggregate view" across a provider's entire managed fleet. This is ideal for performing security audits, identifying attack trends across specific industry verticals, or monitoring geographic attack patterns.

Profile and Device Management

  • Scalability: Each MSP company can create up to 20 report profiles.
  • Capacity: A total of 500 devices can be managed across all profiles.
  • Compatibility: Supports USG Flex, ATP, and H Series firewalls.

Reporting Logic and Customization

Reports can be scheduled "weekly or monthly". The system uses a comparison logic where current data is measured against the previous period. For example, a monthly report generated on February 1st covers all of January and compares it to December.

Administrators can set a "universal time zone" for the report, which automatically converts logs from firewalls in different regions to a single standard for consistent analysis.

Report Content and Branding

The report includes threat hit distributions by attack type, top attacked domains/URLs, and an appendix for license expiration tracking.

MSPs can fully brand these reports by uploading custom company logos and designing unique cover pages.

If an MSP Pack license expires, existing profiles are saved, but automated reporting is suspended until renewal.
