When using WiFi 7 (802.11be) mode on the 5 or 6 GHz radio, the 'HIDE SSID' feature is not supported.

This occurs due to updated IEEE 802.11be regulatory requirements and the implementation of Multi-Link Operation (MLO) standards.

Therefore, this behavior is expected when the access point operates in WiFi 7 mode.

How to enable the 'HIDE SSID' feature?

To re-enable the 'HIDE SSID' functionality on your access point, you need to change the 5 GHz radio mode from WiFi 7 (802.11be) to WiFi 6 (802.11ax). Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Configure > Access Points > Radio Settings.
  2. Locate the Radio Mode section.
  3. Select 802.11ax for the 5 GHz radio mode.
