If your AP icon is colored in Orange and showing VLAN issue detected, it could be due to incorrect vlan tag configurations.

Normally, in a small topology environment that only supports default vlan, it was usually observed that an AP's LAN IP was set to "Tagged", which caused problems with packet and traffic flow. Thus, Nebula provides alert status on AP to advice user verfing the settings.

To resolve this, set the VLAN to "Untagged" to allow traffic pass through default vlan.

How to Update the AP's Lan IP VLAN Settings :

  1. Access your AP's configuration page via the Nebula Control Center (NCC).
  2. Go to > Site-wide > Devices > Access points > AP's detail page
  3. Edit the LAN IP, change the VLAN setting from "Tagged" to "Untagged" as per your network requirements.
  4. Save the changes and verify the network connectivity.

After making the changes, the AP should operate correctly. If you encounter any further issues, feel free to contact our support team for assistance.
