Why does wireless performance degrade when two APs are used together?

If the performance decreases when two Access Points (APs) are running simultaneously, it might be caused by co-channel interference. This happens when both APs are operating on the same wireless channel, such as CH6, leading to overlapping signals.

Additionally, environmental factors play a major role. Objects like floors, cupboards, and metallic structures can significantly weaken the signal, causing lower RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) values.

How can the issue be resolved?
