A red Internet (Global) LED means the Internet connection is unavailable, and a blinking blue Cellular Signal Strength LED means no SIM card is detected, or the SIM card is invalid. This often happens if the FWA515 has difficulty initializing the cellular module, where the IMSI code may not have been correctly read by the hardware.
Please try the following steps to troubleshoot and restore the connection:
- Power off the device and remove the SIM card.
- Check the SIM card for any dust or debris, and clean it if necessary.
- Re-insert the SIM card firmly, then power the device back on and wait 5 minutes for the initialization sequence to complete. Make sure the Power LED becomes solid green.
- Using a thin object, press and hold the RESET button for more than 5 seconds.
Note: Pressing the RESET button for fewer than 5 seconds will only reboot the device — it will not re-initialize the cellular module or re-read the IMSI code.
