Will there be support for Nebula identity federation service and NWA130BE?

Yes, there is support for the Nebula Identity Federation Service (NID FS) on the NWA130BE.

With NID FS, users can sign in to the Captive Portal seamlessly using federated enterprise identity providers (IdPs) such as Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace. This allows users to access the wireless network using their existing workplace credentials.

Requirements:

• A Nebula Pro Pack license is required to enable and use the Nebula Identity Federation Service.
• Ensure your NWA130BE is updated to the V7.40 firmware to ensure full compatibility and access to these security features.

Yet I received this answer from Zyxel support:
"The NWA130BE model does not currently support the Nebula Identity Federation Service (NIFS). Consequently, any SSID configured with NIFS will be deactivated and will not broadcast.

For your reference, NIFS is currently supported on the following models: WBE660S, WBE530, WBE510D, WBE630S, IAP500BE, and WBE665S."

The issue is that the SSID is not visible when NIFS is selected.

Thank you for following up, and apologies for the earlier confusion. To correct this: the NWA130BE does not currently support the NID FS. This also explains why your SSID wasn't broadcasting when NID FS was selected on the NWA130BE.

Your ticket request to have NID FS supported on the NWA130BE in the future has already been converted into a feature request and passed to our internal team for evaluation.
