Grace Period Display When Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) is Active Before License Expired

When a Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) license is enabled prior to the expiration of an existing license, it has been observed that the system may still display a 'Grace period' status. Although the PAYG license charge correctly begins from the original license's expiration date, the continued presence of the 'Grace period' label can be misleading.

  • The PAYG license billing correctly commences from the original license's expiration date.
  • The 'Grace period' status display should ideally not appear in this specific scenario, as per the feature request.

Following an update to the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, the behavior regarding the 'Grace period' display in this specific scenario has been addressed. This ensures a clearer status indication for users. The expected status displays are now:

  • Previous Display: The term "Grace period" was shown, despite PAYG being enabled before the license expired.
  • Current Display: The term "Grace period" will no longer appear when PAYG is actively enabled and awaiting activation from a previous license's expiration date.
