  1. Check radio band configuration

The NWA50BE PRO is bandflex model.

A BandFlex AP is a cost-effective, dual-radio AP where the primary radio is dedicated to 2.4 GHz, but the second radio is configurable. You must choose whether the second radio operates in either the 5 GHz or 6 GHz band:

  • Option A: 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz (6 GHz is disabled)
  • Option B: 2.4 GHz + 6 GHz (5 GHz is disabled)

2. Check the AP power is sufficient

ased on the official specifications from the NWA50BE PRO datasheet, here are the PoE power requirements and capabilities for the device:

PoE & Power Specifications

  • PoE Standard Required: IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) is required for normal operation.
  • Power Draw: 16W
  • PoE Compatibility Modes:
    • IEEE 802.3af (standard PoE): Not supported. Operating the device on an 802.3af power source will not provide enough power for the access point.
    • IEEE 802.3at (PoE+): Unrestricted (fully functional).
    • IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++): Unrestricted (fully functional).

If the AP is in limited power mode the slot1(2.4G) and slot2(5G or 6G) will be disabled so the configured SSID is not being broadcast.

From the AP log, the logs showing that slot1 and slot2 were disabled are displayed.
