On Zyxel's FWA 5G NR series (including the FWA710 and FWA510), the ability to upload and bind a custom SSL certificate specifically to secure the local HTTPS WebGUI is currently not supported.
Current Behavior
- Local Certificates Menu: While there is a certificate management path under the local WebGUI (
Security > Certificates > Local Certificates), this function is currently designed and reserved exclusively for TR-069 client authentication (remote management used by service providers). - WebGUI HTTPS: There is currently no option to bind a custom uploaded SSL certificate (such as a wildcard certificate or one from Let's Encrypt) to the WebGUI service itself. The local management interface will continue to use the built-in, default self-signed Zyxel certificate.
- Nebula Cloud Mode: If your device is registered and managed via the Nebula Control Center, custom certificate uploads for local WebGUI access are also not supported.
