usgflex 200h and 500h - disappearing peer gateway address

Hello

in a usgflex200h and usgflex500h (firmware 1.38) we had two site-to-site VPN each, where the "Peer Gateway Address" was a specified IP address. When we have been called saying the VPNs were not working we found out the IP address was not there anymore, and "Dynamic Address" was ticked instead. If the VPN can be opened from the peer as well you don't realize this change has occurred, otherwise the VPN can't be established anymore. Of course nobody changed that configuration. How can it happen on its own ?
