With the latest WiFi 7 firmware (version 7.20 and above) on NWA130BE, the 802.11be mode enforces strict security requirements. Under this mode, legacy "Open" security is no longer supported on the 5GHz and 6GHz bands.

Because of this, Nebula automatically converts your Open SSID on the 5GHz band to Enhanced Open (OWE) to comply with WiFi 7 standards.

However, the 2.4GHz band is automatically set to 802.11ax mode to remain as "Open" for legacy compatibility.

Since legacy devices do not support OWE, they cannot connect to the auto-converted 5GHz band and will fall back to the 2.4GHz band, which still operates in legacy Open mode.

If you want the affected devices to be able to connect to the 5G SSID, you can configure the 5G radio band mode to 802.11ax.
