Mac adress forwarding
Hello,
Question from my boss , Are switch configured, so that users can’t connect own home computers?
I have ZYXEL GS1920 48 ports and I would like to refuse any connection other than computers in my network. (by mac adress)
So , I think that I need to use Mac Adress forwarding but I would like to not use port number because all computer can connect to different switch port.
Can I setup max adress fowarding without port number ?

Welcome to Zyxel community.
For Static MAC forwarding feature, one address can be assigned to one port only.
It seems to us that your goal is to block any untrusted MAC address, but only allow certain known MAC to access switch "at random port".
Instead, you should use "MAC-authentication" which operates with RADIUS server to authenticate clients by MAC address.
