You can go to Monitor > Log > View Log to check out which firewall rule blocked the whatsapp.

I remember there are several patterns to config, to enable picture download.

But be carefull, WhatsApp is a part of Facebook Inc. and require additional ports for successfull communication. It's a bit tricky to reduce the communication.

I'm using V5.00 firmware. The whatapps can be blocked.

You can change the setting from your device which one you using. sometimes automatically setting puts some restriction on our application you just need to find out to make it correct.
